Oh, we had too much fun. You know, podcasts like this should be illegal. This much fun should be illegal.
Aren’t there laws against all this?
Maybe there should be. :D
Jonathan, look into that for me, will ya?
It looks like they have again some feed problems as the 50th episode is not coming either and iTunes informs me that the Podcast is currently not available. But as always, I guess they’re going to fix it soon.
Fixed … shows coming trough iTunes again … yeahhh!
Sorry for the delay, but thanks again for having me and for the kind words. It was fun. :)
Patrick
I always find great posts every time I visit this blog, thank you so much ;)

I have to admit that the “Bikini Job” was one of my favorite title.
Hey, go and check out Vlad’s new theme and his toggle comments thing. He’s a WP Guru ;-)
Wow … something went “wrong” with the file at the end. There’s about 30 minutes of nothing ;-)
Thanks for the mention guys.
Loved the podcast!
Looks like there’s going to be another book on WP.

@Nicolas – Thanks for the notice about the bug Nico. I just poked Dave about it so it can get fixed as soon as possible.
I saw that noticed in regards to the new WordPress book. I’m rather curious so I sent in an email for more information. Maybe you could also be a part of this Nico seeming as you have been getting into the themeing side of WordPress as of late?
@Paul McCarthy – No problems about the mention Paul. Very good to hear you enjoyed the episode.
@Nicolas – I just checked out Vlad’s new site. This is going to take some re-adjusting I think because everything is placed in different positions now.
I must say though… it is very clean now though.
@Lorelle – Oh I agree… that was way too much fun. But hang on a dang second… doesn’t that mean we’re just really lucky at doing something that we really love? After all, if we think it’s not work at all… then boom! We win! “I can’t believe I’m being paid for this.”
@Jeffro – The error should be fixed now Jeff. Thanks for letting us know.
@Brendan – We’d love to have you on the show Brendan. I’ve made a note about it and I’ll have a chat with Dave about it next time I see him. Best of luck with the organization for WordCamp and hope you guys have a killer one. If you are up to trying something novel and want the WordCast team to beam into WordCamp to give a session, let us know and we’ll see if we can co-ordinate something together.
@Brad – Jeff is awesome. He’s always great on the show and his bumpers are a stroke of genius if I say so myself. I taught him well. ;)
@Tzafrir – Not a problem about the mention Tzafrir. You have a very nice plugin that is FREE! There are services that are similar to yours on the Internet but you have to pay money for. Thanks for making yours free.
@Nicolas – Thanks for the tips Nico. I just loaded them up in all my tabs and I will read them all in a second.
Vlad is indeed one of the best WordPress programmers I have met to date. His ideas are unique and revolutionary and I am very happy that I know such a giving and talented individual. :)
I’m hardcore, so I listened to the 30 minutes of silence.
Nice episode guys :)
@Alex – You are indeed hardcore. But I must ask this, “Why did you listen to 30 minutes of silence?”
To have quality time with WordPress for 30 minutes ;-)
Actually I was being facetious ;) I have a dry sense of humor.
@Nicolas – Quality time indeed… but one questions how quality time can be achieved when all one is really doing is listening to silence!
@Alex – Dry humor indeed. Great to see there are people out there who still have one. ;)

Kym, did you get my message. I tried to put a comment here earlier about the theme design topic. Just wanted to give my 2 cents and maybe a way to start for others. But it seems my comment didn’t get to the site or my Internet connection was messed up (I had some problems recently). Anyway, I’m going to write it up again and send it to you guys by email.
Great show … good to have you back. MT is my favorite for the Design Tweek.
@Nicolas – Actually I got it! I’m a bit behind on my Facebook wall posts at the moment but I’ll get to it very soon.
Strange that it isn’t letting you post it here. Must be a certain word that is setting off the alert as I have had a similar problem in the past with submitting a post.
@Nicolas – Good to be back too. :) Not releasing an episode last week felt like… forever!
And guess what… we’re at episode 52 making us the largest WordPress-related podcast on the Interwebs! Take that Interwebs!
Thanks for all the link love guys and for hanging out at the Tavern :) I almost want to turn DarrenHoyts new design into a poster and hang it up on my wall lol
Kym, sorry I didn’t send the stuff on the theme design … I’m kind of busy with final coming up but going to try to get it done for the next show.
On the Child Theme thing … you actually can use any WordPress Theme for your Child Theme if you want. You don’t need one of those Frameworks for it.

Not a problem Jeffy-boy. Good to see you liked your verse in the “Peeps Of WordPress” rap. :) Darren Hoyt as a poster? Hah! I wonder what Darren would have to say about that!
@Nicolas, I’ve found some child theme resources if you’re interested given your foray into WordPrss theming.

I think Mike Massimino did not only send the first tweet from space, he also took Michael Phelps swim cap on his journey.
@Nicolas – Well there you have it. Not only did Massimino send the first tweet from space, he also had Michael Phelps swim cap!! Hahaha lots of firsts there I bet.
I wonder who was the first person to pick his/her nose in space…
@Kym Huynh – sIFR … I heard it before and I was right. Check out this video tutorial from CSS-Tricks … it’s not particular on the WP Plugin but explains the whole concept of sIFR really well and how you can use it without adding another Plugin to your blog (what some people would say is a good thing).
Twitter is also a great tool for increasing traffic to youtube videos

Here’s something new I found in iTunes. I didn’t have the time do check it out myself but the about page on the website looks promising.
If you want to learn about WordPress Theme development, Blog Breaking, is probably another resource for you.
Thanks for the links Nico and great article! Very informative and really great as an introduction for people who haven’t done theming before aka me.
A really nice summary of some great resources for those turning to theming.
